YumEarth Organic Candy Review
Some of the GimmieGirls have reviewed YumEarth Organic Candy before, and we were excited when they gave us another opportunity to try some new products and tell you about them.
Make this Easter Naturally Sweet with YumEarth!
Healthy lifestyle is not only hip but also mainstream, with stores like Walgreens, ToysRUs, and Whole Foods carrying these tasty treats.
YumEarth, the #1 organic candy company is the US, is a proud leader in the organic and all-natural snacks & sweets category with its popular and delicious gummy bears, lollipops, sour beans, candy drops and sour worms, available in amazing flavors such as Pomegranate Pucker, Mango Tango and Wet-face Watermelon.
Why YumEarth? Hear it from the GimmieGirls:
Debbie: My kids are lollipop connoisseurs. Well, they are expert tasters in candy – period. It is true that they hardly turn down sugar in general, but when they picked the YumEarth lollipops over a popular round type sucker with a chocolaty middle…that’s saying something! So is there a huge taste difference in YumEarth’s organic candy versus non-organic? Yes! You can actually taste the fruit flavors in the YumEarth gummy bears, sour jellybeans, and lollipops. It didn’t taste like just sugar with food coloring. The gummy bears are juicy and not rubbery, the lollipops are deliciously fruity, and the sour jellybeans make your eyes squint and your shoulders shrug (that’s a good thing!) Now for the good for you part (yes, I am still talking about the candy). YumEarth candies are all gluten-free, contain 100% of the daily nutritional value of vitamin C; they are vegan, made with real fruit, no artificial dyes, or high fructose corn syrup. Given a choice on what type of candy I would give my kids, I must say that I would go with the ones that contain pronounceable ingredients versus a chemical list. My oldest son’s favorites were the Very Very Cherry lollipops and the gummy bears. My youngest loves the Strawberry Smash lollipops and the sour jellybeans. I prefer the sour jellybeans…I love all things sour! Overall, my boys liked all the flavors and ate them right up. I did manage to hide a few for their Easter baskets. Great taste and good for you…not much more you can ask for in candy, or anything you eat! Thumbs up YumEarth!
Trish: As a mother of 3, I’m always looks for healthy snacks and treats for my children. My two boys both have a terrible sweet tooth and are constantly asking for sweets and treats. I’ve had to really limited their intake because I don’t want to fill them up with sugary, unhealthy candies. YumEarth Organics makes a fantastic candy line for kids! These candies are gluten-free, 100% in daily vitamin C, fat-free, no artificial dyes, real fruit, 100% Vegan, no high fructose corn syrup and 100% natural flavors! When I received the candies I was shocked to read all of this on the packaging! Now I’m able to give my kids a nice sweet treat without feeling totally guilty about giving them nothing but “junk”. We got to try the Sour Beans, Organic Pops, and the Gummy Bears. The gummy bears are very soft and chewy. They taste so much better than the regular gummy bears we usually purchase. You can actually taste the real fruit flavor. They come in individual packages which is perfect for the kids as a treat. The flavors the bears come in are Pomegranate Pucker, Mango Tango, Perfectly Peach, and Strawberry Smash. My kids enjoyed the unique flavors and the taste of the gummy bears. They asked if we could get these more often! The sour beans were my oldest son’s favorite. These are great little jelly beans that pack a great sour taste but isn’t overwhelmingly sour. These too are packaged individually for the perfect treat. The flavors in these are outstanding! These little beans pack an amazing fresh fruit flavor! The Organic Pops are my youngest’s favorite. The flavors are Pomegranate Pucker, Perfectly Peach, Strawberry Smash, and Very Very Cherry. These pops are amazingly tasty! Again they have a fantastic fruit flavor like the other products, some of the flavors have a unique swirl of colors, and each pop is only 22 calories! My kids LOVED these candies and I feel great about letting them enjoy them! These make parents happy with how healthy these candies are for their children and kids absolutely LOVE them and the taste without all the added chemicals and unhealthy ingredients! With Easter coming up, I think these are a fantastic addition to Easter baskets! Especially the sour beans in place of regular Jelly Beans! These have a spot saved in my kid’s baskets this year! Try these out, you won’t want to go back to other candies again!
Heather: ~Yay! My little girl was so excited to be getting Yummy Earth Candy for review again! Since first trying YumEarth we have picked the Lolipops up a few different times in store. My little girl loves all the different flavors! For this round, we got to sample the Lolipops, Gummy Bears, and the Sour Beans. Her favorite is still the Lolipops, and I happen to prefer the Sour Beans myself! You get a good hit of sour then some yummy sweet when you chew. This one takes me back for sure! The gummy bears are really fruity, and you can taste the natural ingredients compared to what you’re used to. You also get to try some unique flavors like Pom, Peach, and Apple with these! If you are not familiar with YummyEarth, they are candies made with real fruit extracts, and all natural ingredients. So all the flavor, and color is coming from 100% good for you stuff! So you can be confident you are giving your child a truly healthy treat! We are forever fans of YumEarth! I highly recommend their products as an alternative to the everyday candy you pick up at the supermarket for your kids! We will be sharing the love by throwing some of our leftover samples in Easter baskets this year!
Reylin: The first thing that caught my eye when I first opened the YumEarth Naturals candy is the “100% Daily Vitamin C” written on each of the bags. To make this even better, on the back of the bag it lists even more awesome things such as “No Artificial Dyes” and “Real Fruit Extracts.” With how bad most candy is, I think it’s really cool when candy like this comes around. You’re getting Vitamin C AND it’s gluten-free, fat-free, and contains no high fructose corn syrup, so you don’t feel as guilty when you eat the whole bag by yourself. I received the YumEarth Naturals Sour Beans, Gummy Bears, and Organic Pops and I loved them all. 1 thing that stands out about this candy is the really strong fruit flavors they have. The Gummy Bears have 4 different flavors (Pomegranate Pucker, Mango Tango, Perfectly Peach, & Strawberry Smash). Right when you open a bag of the gummy bears, a strong fruit scent hits you and you just KNOW that these gummy bears are going to taste good, and they do. They’re soft, gummy, chewy, & fruity. The sour beans are described as “the jelly bean with attitude” and that is exactly what they are. I’d want these jelly beans in my Easter basket every year. Like the gummy bears, they have really tasty, fruity flavors. For those of you that aren’t too big on sour candy, don’t worry because they’re not overly sour. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being not sour and 10 being as sour as WarHeads) I’d say these are a 4.5, and that is perfect. You don’t know what type of flavors there are and some of them are more sour than the others. Just like the gummy bears, the organic pops come in 4 flavors: very very cherry, strawberry smash, perfectly peach, and pomegranate pucker. I found all of these lollipops to be yummy and I’m not even a fan of cherry flavored candy. Another thing that stood out is the texture of the lollipops. A few times I’ve gotten chipped lollipops, but these were very smooth and none of them were broken in the bag. Also, the pomegranate pucker lollipop definitely made me pucker at first. Each of the candy came individually wrapped, so that is very convenient. I think this is perfect to stick in your kid’s Easter Baskets this year because not only are they tasty and contain 100% vitamin c, but they also have less sugar. I had a bag of regular jelly beans sitting around so I checked how much sugar was in those and these Yum Earth Naturals sour beans had way less. Overall, I was very satisfied with this candy and would definitely recommend you buy it.
Wendy: I was thrilled to be able to review YumEarth again, and once again tell our readers about this great candy. Not just because it tastes good, and not just because they keep sending me free candy. In all honesty, some people my not get excited to have to review something (hey, it’s work!) that only costs a few bucks anyway, but here’s why I’m excited about YumEarth Organic Candy: they’re doing a good thing. Sure, they make candy your kids will love, but who doesn’t? They make candy YOU will love giving your kids. Plain and simple! You’ve already read about how it’s natural, organic, has vitamins and good stuff and no bad stuff. YumEarth treats are made with all-natural ingredients, no artificial colors or artificial dyes, no gluten, no peanuts, and no tree-nuts, just award winning taste. YumEarth organic lollipops and organic drops are kosher parve as well. Learn more about the ingredients and please shop locally at these stores, at iherb.com if you live outside of the US, or on their online store.
Laurie: I really should have rented some little people (kids) to do this review with me. At my house, my kids are over 18. Luckily they still like candy! The YumEarth Organic candy packaging is cute, and I liked that the individual packages are less than 75 calories each (portion control is good!) I was also impressed that they use no artificial colors or flavors and no high fructose corn syrup. They are fat-free, nut-free, gluten-free, and contain 100% daily allowance of Vitamin C, and real fruit extracts, 100% natural flavors, etc.…the list goes on… all good stuff! We’re not big “gummy bear” fans, but we gave the YumEarth Organic gummy bears a try. We all liked the flavors, but were not crazy about the consistency of them. Granted, I think that gummy bears are supposed to be chewy like that; otherwise they’d have to come up with a new name, right? We all liked the organic pops. Yum! Good size, great flavors… (pomegranate pucker, perfectly peach, strawberry smash & very very cherry). I plan on stashing some of these in my purse for those afternoon hunger pangs when I’m out and about. Lastly, we tried the sour beans. I was really curious about these. They have a sour exterior, but are sweeter when you get to the centers. I liked these a lot. My family wasn’t as excited about them, but then again… I’m the one that likes lemon and limes and other sour things, so I guess that makes sense. Overall, I think the YumEarth candy was a big hit. I know I would feel better giving these as treats compared to regular candy that’s loaded with sugar and other bad stuff. YumEarth definitely gets my vote.
Pat: My grandkids love candy, and they always get a sweet treat when they visit. Their parents like it very much when I have YumEarth on hand versus highly processed snacks that are bad for them. Made with real juice and fruit, how can they argue? And they taste really good too. The sour candy are enough to pucker up even the biggest grin, and of course grandma loves to see the smiles on their faces. A direct result of having YUMMY treats! If you haven’t ever tried this candy, I highly recommend it. It makes sense that it would taste good, fruit and fruit juices are very tasty. I don’t know why more companies don’t strive to make more healthy candy. Maybe it’s just easier to throw in all those chemicals. Whatever the case, I’m glad YumEarth is so tasty and good for my grandkids.
