Nutrisystem Weight Loss Review 2015 ~ Week 10
Making a change like this – one that will forever change how you live, eat and (most importantly) how much you weigh, is no small thing. Like any life changing event, there’s no “I changed and now that’s done, so we resume how things were before.” And there’s no, “poof! I’m different and all’s well.” It’s a constant thing. Constantly reminding yourself why you’ve chosen this. You want something to change, and you have to change something to make that happen. Whether it’s eating healthier, getting more exercise, for whatever reason: losing weight, fighting an illness or condition, gaining strength. That all sounds easy and sensible. The problem is, you have to keep making good choices.
I find myself waking up in the morning, chastising myself for my choices the day before. Did I exercise as much as I should have? Did I eat all the right things at the right time? It’s exhausting. No wonder people give up on “diets.”

One thing I really like about Nutrisystem is that they encourage you not to beat yourself up. Learn from “mistakes” and try to make better choices next time. Give yourself a break, and enjoy yourself with food but seek balance and health.
So, back to me in the morning: I’m all ready for my day; I’m determined to make good choices. I start out strong and by afternoon I’m retreating into the headache I’ve developed by dealing with all of life’s little excitements. I’m seeking some downtime. I’m thinking I can probably make up for indiscretions tomorrow – either through eating better or exercising more. But, right now I need that piece of pizza or chunk of chocolate. It’s been a long day.
So, therein lies my dilemma and my ongoing struggle to get fit, lose weight and feel better. I’m doing better, but too often I’m very critical of myself. And, when I get overly critical, I find it easier to ignore all of it. And, then something reminds me in a few days that I was trying to do better. lol
The solution? I’m sorry, I don’t have it yet. But, I’m doing better. 🙂
- The weather has been very nice, and I’ve been riding bike regularly!
- I do really, really well all day until evening when it’s time for dinner (supper) and then it’s hit or miss
- see above 😉
- I’ve lost 9.5 lbs so far! (none this week)
