2015 Kia Sorento Review
The new 2015 Kia Sorento lives up to its name with luxury to spare! This awesome Crossover SUV starts at just $24,300 – far lower than comparable vehicles in its class. If you’ve followed our other Kia reviews, you probably already know that Kia is not the throw-away car it once had a reputation of being. They’re built well and they are so nice!
Kia lent us a 2015 Sorrento to drive on our Southern California #GimmieOnTour vacation. We could not have been more comfortable, cruising around the beach in this beauty!
Roomy yet nimble. Powerful but fuel-efficient. With features like Bluetooth® technology and hidden storage, to available features like UVO eServices and 3rd-row seating.
Here are some of the things we loved most about the Sorento:
[above] My little girl and I loved the HUGE open roof, which can be covered by a shade that hides in the side of the window or can be open to see the marvelous SoCal sky! Shown above, we took a few selfies and captured the beautiful blue sky at Huntington Beach.
My little girl also LOVED the heated 2nd-row seats. I love that the driver’s seat and passenger seat’s are heated and have separate climate control. And, the Nappa Leather makes you want to melt into it, it’s so comfy!
[above] Third row seating, if you’re picking up friends or have a large family. Or, they fold down completely and give you ample storage room!
[above] While parked at our hotel, my little girl found the built-in 2nd row window sunshades. She loved that you don’t have to try to stick on shades with suction cups (and let’s be honest, those never work!) She played with them, but mostly left them up because it was super sunny and bright. They’re easy to see through, so she didn’t miss a thing!
[above] Mr. Gimmie loved driving the 2015 Kia Sorento! It has all kinds of fun features, such as the Bluetooth wireless connectivity, keyless remote entry, heated steering wheel and the satellite radio with USB auxiliary. And, we were both a little shocked when the rear-view mirrors tucked themselves in when he shut the car off! lol
I loved that it gets 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway! That’s great news for my wallet!
